Mainly i dont hav respect for people who are blatantly wrong, but if they can prove their case i will respect them fully, and yeh expect the same bak. Its like positive to see that so many people are like anti, considering we are all supposed to be like doormats in today's society, without much of an opinion supposedly, so yeh neone who can argue effectively n wit a purpose deserves our respect. but as urban hatemonger said "You earn respect , you don`t just get it."

once again, like urbanhatemongerer said, you do have to earn respect. also, the point has been brought up by alejo and artistintheambulance that without facts to back up your statements, they command very little respect. I so respect most people's opinions here, because a lot of people take the time to back up their opinions with facts and valid arguments. It's very apparent when I respect your opinion because I'll take the time to post valid arguments and try to have a meaningful and insightful discussion. On the other hand, if you post rediculous statements with nothing to back it up, i'll most likely either just ignore it or counter it with a really sarcastic comment.

I like the fact people don't always agree. I respect people for specking their minds even if they don't have facts to back their arguments at least they have the courage to speak up.
No one should have to earn respect. |

^ haha, oh god there are probably too many to count. and with a good deal of them the sarcasm goes unnoticed so someone gets offended or confused and then its just a mess.
