Pourmeanother was pretty spot on with his discription of the lifecycle of a forum. I've witnessed it first hand a couple of times and it's always fascinating.

But I ended up here when I was googling some band trying to find a link to download an old album I couldn't find in any of the usual places (I forget which band) and lo and behold not only was there a thread on the band but somebody had posted a link to the album even though that's apparantly against the rules (I'm definately not complaining).

So I basically stuck around to check out the other artists in the indie section that I haven't heard off.
