Our music tastes are polar opposites but we share a common interest as video game nerds.

The Unfan's musical tastes and mine were probably best described not just as polar opposites but as not even being from the same *planet*... heh heh ... but that didn't bother me none. I think the differences between people are part of what is nice about MB...one gets to "meet" people with whom one might never interact in non-computer life, and as a result learn more about music than one would in one's own insular life. MusicBanter reminds me that "no man is an island"...although some people, like addidasss, *live* on an island. That is my deep thought for the night/day.

I just read what I wrote over. I have **** grammer as it is, and I was in a hurry. What I meant, was when I join a board, I always like to feel welcome. Hence why I always welcome noobs. I'll copy and paste that sentence, and eh.. use it . I'm having a little difficulty working out the bad word though, I guess I can use my imagination

the decrease in quality seems to have been a regular trend since we closed the sharing thread...

I think I know what you're getting at.
The sharing thread was very popular and it was a shame to close it, but I don't think it's effected how people post and the membership numbers are still increasing...
