Just bought a handsome vintage London Fog raincoat with removable liner. It's about time I had a proper rain jacket for my daily mass transit commute.

I also needed an umbrella, but the collapsible plastic garbage at retail stores are useless at keeping a fella dry, and the fabric of true antique umbrellas is far too fragile for utilitarian function. Thankfully, Amazon had a user-sanctioned $55 brolly available for just $21 so I ordered one which will hopefully do the job.

I, too need a new umbrella. I only have this gaudy black lace-covered umbrella which looked much nicer in the Amazon picture.

I finally spent the rest of my Amazon gift card and got:

-A new spider brooch to replace my old one which broke (unfortunately though it is silver and PINK and not red as it appeared in the photo, so it's not going to match anything I own.)

-This dress:

.. I have a bit of a gingham problem. I now own not four but five gingham-print things. I'm going to have to exchange the dress for a smaller size, though, as it's too big in the waist.

-A purple skeletor shirt since my size finally came back in stock

-Season one of The Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye

-The first issue of Miracleman (I wanted to get many more books and comics in general but I ended up having to buy boring household things and skeletor things instead. :c )

-A webcam

-Some other things which I cannot remember right now

Awesome. I'm gonna have to seriously think about picking up the entire series soon myself.

****ing. A. After five months of recovery, my left ankle basically has zero muscle and I've been setting myself back because of it. I started doing exercises with this thing yesterday and my god does it massively help. My dumbass should've gotten one of these a month ago but I can kind of see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Consider this a PSA in the event that you break your ankle and your doctor doesn't give you much recovery advice.

My sister's graduation present. I chose it for her because it's smart, funny, and easy, just like she is.
