Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil FTW. Best sandwich I have eaten for a long time. Bump and grind on a plate for me.

Having just googled chicken in a can i now have a horrible feeling you mean a WHOLE chicken in a can? I was thinking of some awful processed concoction but this just goes way further than i ever imagined.

This video sums it up rather nicely:

Oh God, i really dont know how to respond to that. That actually makes me feel a little sick. That is quite possibly the most vile thing i have ever seen.

The pianist's bible!
This is an excellent tool to improving one's sight reading; And better sight reading means an easier time learning pieces. Each chorale averages about 10 measures, and as you can see, there is an abundance of them. Just open the book up to a random place and play one through everyday. :D

Farfisa 11-22-2009 01:41 AM

Lol, pianist.

Only a sample, not the full bottle. It's incredible stuff. So clean and bright yet grounded by some bizarre earthy note. Possibly currants

NumberNineDream 11-25-2009 06:04 PM

I'm still ecstatic about the last things I bought.

+6 albums (stated in the last albums bought thread)

+2 magazines:
- The first with a special Pink Floyd article and a free Space Rock comp. album I'm really psyched about.
-The second with Velvet Underground special and a free comp album with artists influenced by VU.

+3 books:

Chicken and cans, shouldn't mix, never mind whole chickens and cans.

However I last bought,
The book I've been meaning to buy.

Such an amazing movie. I found out Mark Romanek is also directing a movie version of Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go which was an incredible book. I'm quite excited for it

I'm not a huge reader or anything, but I've read through that 3 or maybe 4 times. The movie is great, but that book is just amazing.
The copy I own has a quote from a reviewer on the front that says, "Deserves to sell more copy's than The Bible." He might be exaggerating a little I guess...but just a little...

Edit: Last thing I bought was a Pumpkin Pie scented candle yesterday. Its pretty big and has 3 wicks on the top. Smells great. :D

sidewinder 11-25-2009 09:37 PM

Oh damn I need to pick up that book! I loved the movie and haven't seen it in ages so it'd be great to read the book and then watch the film again.

I like pumpkin pie but I really can't stand candles that are suppose to smell like holiday food. I'd much rather have the real thing.

sidewinder 11-26-2009 11:56 AM

Truth, not a fan of that kind of "holiday spice" type candles including pumpkin pie. But eating pumpkin pie is another story.

Farfisa 11-26-2009 01:42 PM

Sweet potato pie is ten times better than pumpkin.

But that's actually pastry flour. I baked a cake.
