Additive. Minus the C. It means they haven't added anything in it to preserve it, change it's colour/texture, alter the moisture levels. Basically it's still made from tobacco so it still has nicotine but it has a lot less **** added to it so it's a generally cleaner, tastier smoke.

I rented an hourly zipcar to run some errands. It was a civic just like this, same color. It had an iPod adapter and I played some tunes.

I bought a different jacket a few weeks ago but decided to return it. Insufficient pockets and not enough length to cover my arse from rain. So I got this one today.

http://media.rei.com/media/gg/b7b5ed...e2c5773a05.jpg

On my way home I bought a steak burrito. Not actual picture. I am now stuffed and drowsy.

And I bought some organic ground beef to make spaghetti sauce tomorrow. Yummage.

Makes me want Steak Tartare.

Not quite as poofy as this one but it's closest I could find on google images. Sometimes a full jacket in Nevada winters are too much, but a regular hoodie sweater isn't enough to keep you fully warm. Vests like this with a hoodie is one of the best things ever, you're not sweating at all and you're not cold. Even in the rain it holds up surprisingly well.

sidewinder 11-16-2009 11:39 AM

Those are hugely popular up here. I don't own one though.

They're good for overcast or cold crisp days, but days where it's your usual Pacific North West downpour they're pretty much useless. In Nevada our winters are cold and dry, so I don't have to worry too much about the elements, but I wouldn't dream of using one as a winter jacket during my time in Vancouver.

sidewinder 11-16-2009 02:11 PM

Haha, it goes without saying that they're not ideal for wet weather. :D They're a common site in the early fall and spring.

I upgraded my Macbook OS to Snow Leopard. In doing so I freed up about 23 gigs of space which is making it run a lot smoother than before. My connection to the internet still sucks, however I think that's due to the fact that there's two macs using it... and the old wiring in this house.

Dear jesus that does sound terrible. You really can't beat the tomato soup/goldfish cracker combination but the idea it prepackaged together sounds worse than chicken in a can.

Decided to try and learn more about digital art to make up for barley touching my art book project this year. So far I'm enjoying myself, however finding a decent tutorial on youtube that goes at a slower pace is proving difficult.
