i got a rush of anxiety today after i finished my work assignment. the weed is here but i wondered if i should get a vape pen and just suck on nicotine but then realized that in Connecticut, they have CBD everywhere. so i thought id just buy a vape mod kit and stick CBD e juice in there. if i want the thc ill just grab it from my shop but from now im sticking with just CBD. i bought the $70 1000mg and a cheap $45 vape pen. so far its fun vaping :)

Today I've added a handsome centerpiece to my mantel above my fireplace. While I own a few beautiful pocket watches I've not had a dedicated timepiece for my home, so I've acquired an antique William L. Gilbert Clock Company mantel clock from Bristol / Winsted CT manufactured in 1881. It is complete with its original key and pendulum and chimes elegantly on the hour.

A beautiful complement to my neo-Victorian decor!

I bought my friend $5 in taco's yesterday because he split his cheese burger with me when I couldn't get away for lunch.

Just had another bronze Beethoven bust cast for my snazzy new office at work to match the one I have in my listening room at home. (They make amazing headphone stands.)

Nice! My best Beethoven find to date is the 80-LP 16-volume Beethoven Bicentennial Collection by Deutsche Grammophon (1972). I also managed to track down a copy of the companion book from the set - a beautiful leather bound oversize with hundreds of pages of the original sheet music, oil paintings, and the life story of Beethoven.

A real treasure for any music historian!

I don't think I've cut myself with guards on. Without guards I have though. Was not too bad but that's the price you pay for using clippers on places other than your head.
I got some new clippers recently. Wahl Senior Cordless, I zero gapped them and they are fantastic.

I tracked down every one of the missing elements and reshot and updated the photo to show the 100% complete playset in all its splendor.

(You know it's the 1975-6 edition and not a subsequent model because Oscar's trash can lid has a handle on it.)

I had the 1984 Playskool knock-off version when I was a kid, but this more authentic version sates my Jim Henson nostalgia.

Had a blast at my village's annual Gigantic Garage Sale event. I hit up 60 of the nearly 100 sales looking for a red Victorian style vintage arm chair small enough and at an adequate seat height for my new office at work.

Mission accomplished for $7.

I'll be sharing a photo album of the fully-decorated office once the final art piece arrives from England in the next two weeks.

last stuff i bought was food, bag of mixed frozen berries,apples,carrots,and bananas but i ate all the banans for diner and so now its just carrots and apples and berries tonight. not much protein :o: i really need to invest in some nice tasting protein powder.

there tons of protein in broccoli, i plan to explore that soon :beer: i hear its gotta be raw to get the full nutrients though or just slightly steamed :yeah:
