I am so excited to share a new addition to my home! Just arrived and now proudly on display is this handsome bronze statue of James Joyce imported from the author's native country of Ireland.

The piece is signed by the artist and I've paired it with an antique marble topped mahogany pedestal with brass ornamental inlays. It is a wonderful complement to my collection of Joycean artifacts and will beautify my home for years to come.

The pillows on my vintage arched clawfoot gold velvet sectional were worn out so I popped into a thrift store on my way home from a morning errand today and found five burgundy and gold velvet damask tasseled decorative throw pillows that perfectly matched my decor for $2.99 each. I'm calling this a success.
