Like, as far as songwriting, yeah Symbolic is pretty much tops. But they were never more savage than on Individual Thought Patterns.

Bummer! The replacement cable I'd ordered for my AudioQuest Nighthawk headphones arrived today, but the jack on my Android phone isn't compatible with the cable's TRRS 2.5mm connectors. (I get sound only from the left ear.)

All I need is a simple 6ft cable with a 3.5mm TRS stereo male connector on one end and two 2.5mm mono TS male connectors at the other.

But apparently, this is the rarest item on God's earth. I've tried Audiogon, Amazon, eBay, and Monoprice with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

I got a male connector for you.

I came up with a novel (albeit half-assed) solution - I connected the cable to a standard 1/8" to 1/4" adapter and in turn plugged that adapter into a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter, and plugged that into the headphone jack, effectively eliminating the extra stripe on the plug. It works... though I now have a stupidly long plug which will surely break if I'm not mindful.
