Bought a floor tom and a bass drum (sans kick) yesterday for just under $20. Not sure what company they are because the labels have fallen off, but they sound very nice.

Are they the only drums you have? Put egg-crate foam or a pillow in the bass drum to warm up the sound.

I have a bodrahn, a snare, two tambourines (one with a skin and one without), a splash cymbal, a trash cymbal, and whatever else I want to bang on. Until I have a kit, I'll be using the bass drum as a second floor tom, but I'll consider the pillow thing.

Here's the house I just bought. And everything I've ever bought inside it.

You have many decorations. How long did it take you to unpack and get everything in the right place?

Except for the hammer and mallet, which were a buck a piece at a different garage sale, the rest were donated by my late friend who had just acquired a huge set from his neighbor who owns a welding shop and just retired. I got most of his doubles. I had lost all my tools a long time ago from a move, so this is a good start on my road back to fixing my own ****.
