What is it? My first thought was a Cenobite's masturbation aide but it's too virginal white for that.
You know those things you used to put play dough into as a kid? You'd smash the pedal thingy and the dough would come out in strands of fun shapes like swirls and stars and curls? It does that but to vegetables like zuchinni and brocolli.

Hard to tell from the pictures and my books just came in. Do you know anything about the flowers? Might not even be native, looks like it was planted for ornamental purposes. I don't wanna give in and ask my teacher though.
I'm looking though!
From what I remember, they're white. That's all I know. Thanks for looking into it.

Just bought my first house yesterday. It has all the charm of a home built in the mid-20s and many modern amenities like a new tear-off roof, new plumbing, electrical, heat, energy windows, etc. The original hardwood flooring and gumwood trim is intact but the fireplace was updated to a gas fireplace... not a choice I would have made but it will come in handy should the power ever go out in the winter.
The one thing it DOESN'T have is ceiling lighting. So I went to work furnishing the home with antique lamps.
Spoiler for Click here and check them out!:
This bridge lamp just arrived in the post and I had it rewired and shaded by a local antique lamp company this afternoon. It makes a world of difference in lighting my office.
And this desk lamp was found atop a neighbor's trash can. There's a torn bit of the fabric... which simply means I face that side to the wall. One man's trash...
Lots of miscellaneous purchases for the new home, but the lighting has been the most fun thus far.

Thanks Tennis!
Another finishing touch to make the house a home - This piece just came back from the frame shop yesterday - TIME Magazine, May 8, 1939 with James Joyce on the cover.
Mine and my fiance's favorite author interviewed by TIME upon the publication of Finnegans Wake and printed just months before his death.
Spoiler for I'm so happy to have this piece of history commemorated on the wall of our home.:
Fiance is finishing unpacking the last of her boxes, we're planning for the Housewarming Party, and my new retro-chic cassette-cased key ring commemorating Steve Steigman's iconic Blown Away print now proudly carries my house keys.
