Edifer M3200 speakers. For the price ($60), they completely blow the competition out of the water, specifically the Bose C2 speakers. Not only do they come with a sub woofer, but you also get this really nice master volume knob that has some real weight to it and feels completely solid. If you're in the market for some budget speakers that don't sound like budget speakers, I would highly recommend these. Samsung 24" LED monitor I missed out on a $99 Dell 24" monitor on Black Friday but Office Depot is doing a deal right now, so it all worked out in the end. Definitely needed to play around with the settings out of the box, but I think it looks pretty damn good. The only weird thing about is it doesn't have DVI port, just VGA and HDMI. |

Just, it's absolutely perfect. It's a brutal little thing, it can growl like a throat singer, and whistle like a pied piper. |

****ing awesome, super jealous. They've got one of those (or something similar) at the local Guitar Center and they always have to kick me off of it when I get too into it because I start scaring the customers.

They're really, really cheap for an analogue synth. I got mine used for a little over 400. They sound really beastly going through effects pedals, and they have so many settings, and are really, really noisy when you want them to be. Only problem is that it's monophonic, because I liked to play really ****ed chords and hear ping ponging dissonance.

Things I bought for other people: A Storm Of Swords Awesome Mix Tape (I didn't like the movie, but it's a compilation of songs that the recipient will appreciate) Helplessness Blues by Fleet Foxes Things I bought for myself: Infinite Jest- David Foster Wallace (I'm a fan of maximalism and postmodernism like Pynchon, so I'll give it a read after Gravity's Rainbow) 6 chocolate cookies from a quebec style bakery |
