New member of the herd, a Peavey Cirrus 5 BXP

...also along with that, I picked up a Peavey KB300 amp, and a Peavy mic w/cord. Got them from a friend who bought quite a few new toys in a package deal but didn't need all of it, so he passed the savings on to me. The Cirrus is nice, but I'm not too fond of the tone. My Jaguar has more lower register. Still, I couldn't pass that deal up.

^Very nice Plankton, I'd love to have a five string. One of my musical acquaintances recently got one, an Ibanez if I recall correctly, and the two or three times I've played it was fantastic. He also put a makeshift bridge type of thing that gave the strings higher action in the middle than the sides so that bowing is possible, which I thought was super cool.

Thats a great idea! I was thinking about using the Cirrus as a project axe. It's nice to play and all, but I don't think I'll ever use it in a serious situation, so why not scallop some frets, give it a kill switch, and do what your friend did. Then it'll have some appeal.

But yeah, at the rate I get things done... ahhh, it'll never happen.

The last thing my cousin bought me was a Starbucks drink (my official first-time taste) it got me sleepy. I dunno what she ordered but I swear, it didn't do it for me. Weird huh.
