My good old reliable Sennheiser earphones bit the dust yesterday so I decided to replace them with these Philips SHE9000 earphones. These earphones aren't bad I guess for a mid-range price, they lack the warmth and powerful mid-bass of my old Sennheisers but have a clearer treble which was something my Sennheisers lacked. The bass is rather strange on these, it's either so deep it rattles your skull or is practically inaudible. A lot of earphones these days seem to be tuned towards electronic, hip-hop and pop music, which is what these seem to be made for, rather than rock music. These earphones will do me for a while though.
