That kind of surprises me - what about the shopping? Or is it that you live closer to Dallas so you don't need it? I live in Austin and I feel sorry for the people in Houston during the summers. Over-industrialization and humidity are what I dislike about Houston (sorry NSW - it's just so oppresive) - why do you hate it?

Yeah, pretty much everything y'all mentioned is true. It's too busy and there is lots of pollution (that what we get for being this close to Texas City). But we have good museums, theater, and the scenic places aren't too far away to drive to. I'd like to move north a little ways though.
