idk, the -ing adds that extra flavor to it.

Bullocks sure, but twat is used fairly regularly in the states and is pretty offensive to many people. I think it's a funny word, I would like to use it more.

Oh I heard a new "substitute" today..."What the heaven?"

Things sure are different here in the states.
I used bollocks in an essay in English class and my teacher said that there were "intelligent negative adjectives".

Australians also use bullocks and twat often, not just the UK.

Oh my bad. I just stereotype people like crazy; makes things a lot simpler

@sidewinder: I've never heard anyone say Twat, but maybe it's just not an east coast thing

Aussies are brilliant at swearing, are they any specific ones that we may not have heard of over here? Ballbag is another one of my favourites.

Haha never heard ballbag but I like it!

Australians are very liberal when it comes to 'curse' words. This advertising campaign was banned in other places like the UK when we thought nothing of it at all:

Pretty much the most common 'swearing' that you'll hear in Australia is the word "bloody" before everything, in the middle of words, just anywhere.

"You bloody ripper!"
"You bloody beauty!"
"Fan-bloody-tastic" etc.

Other words/ phrases that are often used here are things like bugger, fuck me dead, fuckwit, dickhead, up the duff, donga/donka, tosser... plus loads more which are way too offensive for my liking! I guess these aren't unique to Australia but used pretty freely haha. It's true that Australians are brilliant at swearing... something I'm definitely not proud of :/

I don't think bloody is really a swear over here, it's easily one of my most used words though!
