Zuckerberg's gonna have you taken out for trying to build your own metaverse.

I forgot to mention, it's more of a promo thing for Dellwood Disc Golf with a bit of some game play involved with the geo cache thing. You have to find 3D items I place in random spots in the world and then screen shot them as you find them. Once you get them all you win a free disc or something similar.

Thanks. Lots of hours. All structures/buildings and misc things have to be modelled in CAD then imported into the world. Not to mention placing every tree, grass, weeds, etc. Then there's the terrain modeling, which can be a pain.

One of my first 3D projects in the early 90's was modelling up our solar system. You could zoom out to the extents, then zoom in all the way to a naked lady in the eye of a fly sitting on the toilet seat in the bathroom of the office I used to work at.

I'm still using the 2019 version, so this'll be a nice upgrade, finally:

And you haven't uploaded this for us why?

I did have a test run of it uploaded to my Google Drive, but these files are huge, so I deleted it to save space. Once it's complete and ready for distribution I'll post a link, but, and this is a big but, the system requirements are a bit on the high end:

https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com...language=en_US

That's kinda why I shelved it, but I think people with decent systems may still have a go at it. The software is geared towards architectural and engineering so having a higher end system is a requirement for most in the business if they want to stay competitive. It's supposed to be more of a collaboration tool, not really for 'games', although I've had a couple people comment on my work projects how they remind them of Fortnite. lol It's made from the same Unreal Engine 5 gaming platform.

Heck yeah, for $32 you can't get much better than that. 2GB of RAM though, that'd have me a bit flustered. I'd be constantly rebooting.

Another component to consider is the 1.4Ghz processor, which isn't great but it should be fine for low resource things.

Your connection speed will be based on your ISP and the product/package you have. Wifi cards and adapters are pretty standard.

I'm guessing this is what you're getting:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/284926689112

That's fairly similar to the laptops I set up for RTD systems, which are just bare-bones for running some temperature detection software, and they're fine for surfing and vids, but they hit the RAM ceiling fairly easily.

MOBO: ASUS TRX40
HD #1: M.2 SSD 1TB NVMe Samsung 980 PRO PCI-Express

I'm literally salivating right now.
Ordered it this morning. Should be here in a couple weeks. w00t!

I did stick with the 3090ti. The 4090 is tempting, but not really worth the extra $$.
