hey storymilo, is it a laptop? does your PrtSc key share a function with anything else? might be an Fn key issue.
alternatively, to see if it's a hardware issue, go Start-Run and type osk.exe this is the on-screen keyboard. use the PrtSc button there, and see if it captures your screen. if it works, then it's your keyboard. also, not sure what all this Ctrl-PrtSc stuff is about. all you need is PrtSc. using Alt will capture the active window, but Ctrl does not do anything... |

I didn't even think to ask about whether it was a laptop or not. Probably because I hate them. Even subconsciously. |
Apparently the key is mapped to Print Screen, and yet it still doesn't work. Does this mean the key is just not functioning?
