They work but the computer freezes I also think it has a problem sensing things because when I plug my ipod in it thinks it's a digital camera.

You might have some problems with your USB controller drivers, but as for the freezing, that could be a lot of things, even hardware and memory problems. You may want to consider backing up all your music and important files on a couple burnable DVD's and wiping your drive and re-installing your OS. It's ultimately going to be the least troublesome route to possibly clear up your problems without spending too much time and too much money. At least if you do that and your problems are still there, you know it's a hardware issue and then you can look at other solutions with a better reference point.

My Computer Keeps crashing and going to the Blue screen of death.

When it doesn this it says AP- Index- Mismatch, I think it cuts out before I get a chance to view it properly.

Im also having problems with firefox, after about half an hour of use it starts being really jerky and it never streams video properly. IE works fine but id rather not use it.

Videos are loading really slow on my computer, slower than usual. This goes for YouTube, Vimeo, Photobucket..everything. Anyone have any ideas?

Not to give the snotty IT dude response or anything, but did you try restarting your computer?

Is your internet connection in general a lot slower? If so might want to fix that I guess.

Give Google Chrome a try. I switched from Firefox to Chrome about 6 months ago and i've never looked back. It loads pages a lot quicker than Firefox and it hardly ever freezes.

I used Chrome for a while too (prefer it to firefox) but it started messing up for some reason, so I switched over to Opera. It's looking pretty nice so far, a little more customizable and more features than Chrome.

If you also notice that web pages load slower and music and any other downloadable thing downloads slower than normal, then it could be one, or a combination of, several things:

1) your internet connection is not operating at its previous speed/bandwidth.
Are you connected to your internet router/modem via WIFI, or are you using a LAN cable? If you're using a LAN cable, visually inspect the cable to make sure it hasn't been stepped on or rolled over too much to the point that it's damaged. Usually when that happens you'll get a lot of timeouts and slow upload/download speeds, or complete loss of connectivity if the damage is severe enough. If you're certain the cable isn't damaged due to it not being in a high traffic area and your cat or dog hasn't been nibbling at it, then:

2) Your computer may be infected with spyware and/or viruses.
If you have a virus scanner, scan your drives. If your virus scanner features a spyware scanner, use that as well. There are some free spyware programs out there on the web as well. Using at least two REPUTABLE spyware programs in conjunction with one another is usually the most beneficial.

3) Your Internet Service Provider (aka Verizon, Cox, whatever) may be having issues with your DSL line if using DSL, or Cable, respectively.
If you're using dial-up, stop reading this, cancel your dialup service, and get something faster because that's just ridiculous.
Contact your ISP and ask them if there are any issues currently affecting your service. If they say no, get a tech on the phone and let him walk you through verifying your settings on your DSL/Cable modem. If nothing comes of that, use the opportunity to grill him about your issue and get him to offer some alternative solutions. You're paying for connectivity, so you're entitled to support. To what extent they'll offer that support... you'll find that out when you talk to them.

Let me know if any of that helps at all.

P.S...
Clear your temporary internet files in your browser before you do anything mentioned above, then restart your browser and test a download.

I have an annoying problem since I installed Windows 7 on my computer. Copy & pasting text is something I do quite often, but when I do it now, I never copy the line breaks. However, I used to!

This is a problem in any text editor and web browser I think, such as IE or notepad.

I've tried to find a solution to this problem, but I can't find any. Can anyone help me?

Seems it just turns line breaks into regular spaces :(
