8k my friend. It'll almost feel like I'm there.

On second thought, having to see the razor bumps on a chick's crotch in HD is why porn peaked in the early 00s.

Good thing I can just take my glasses off for those real life 'situations'.

Actually, I'm gonna wait until after the 12th and get the 4090. I'd love to bridge two of those but I'd probably never need that much GPU power.

A sample of my non-work related... work... and why I need all that power. This was a project I was developing 2 years ago during the height of COVID when I was working from home, but I never completed it. Once I get the new PC, I'll be taking home the PC I developed this in, which is a Threadripper 2950X/RTX 2080 Ti/32G RAM, and hopefully finishing it.

It's nice to dust these things off once in a while.

So are these your computers and not the company's or are they just cool with you taking stuff home?

It was gonna be (maybe still will be) a scavenger hunt, virtual geo cache thing with a checklist and prizes. Some easy things and some really impossible things to find in the VR world I need to finish.

That's fantastic, Plankton! Is this a video game, promo, marketing thing or what? That must have taken some time to put together. Lovely music too.

It's based/developed off of Twinmotion, which is Epic Games version of an architectural visualization tool. You can create a world and send it to a client, where they can walk/fly around. I have the back 9 complete, the front 9 should be easy so once I get settled I'll get it done.

Well done. I can only imagine the number of hours you put into this.
