I never even noticed them haha. I had a Dell in the 90s though.

Well I finally pulled the trigger on that Dell Precision. Yesterday there were 9 in stock, today 4, and I think I had made my mind up anyway. Didn't want to end up missing getting it so it's now ordered. Should be here within about a week. Hopefully I've made the right choice, but I think I have. Thanks to everyone who offered advice, especially Plankton, who sometimes knows what he's talking about.

Hey, even bad advice will work itself out sometimes if you give out enough of it.

Congrats, and hopefully it was made on a good day of the week by a group of people and machines who care.

I hope it doesn't come full of roaches.

That was an optional extra I wasn't prepared to pay for.
I know, I know: some people will roll their eyes, pick them up, put them back in their sockets and say "How can you order a Dell without roaches? That's like buying Windows 10 and not signing on for the additional "six years of pain and heartache talking to support staff who tell you they don't speak English but clearly do" - but those people are purists. I can do without roaches.
Or ants.

Can you believe my bank put a stop on my cc because they detected a "suspicious purchase"? I'm not saying I splash out 900 euro every day, but still, seems a little extreme. Now Amazon have rejected my order and I have to put it in all over again. Meanwhile, someone in America is eyeing up those last 4 machines and thinking "Hmmm...."

Hope I get to mine in time!
