Not exactly the thread for it but close enough -

I am trying to connect my VCR to my Roku TV. My speakers use the RCA space, so I am using a composite RCA to HDMI converter. Nothing is getting through at all, it’s not recognizing anything as connected. What do?

I came home one day and two of my HDMI ports didn't work anymore. I have no clue how to help ya also because I never used Roku. Maybe try StackOverflow.

Could be the TV too, doesn't allow converters?

Hope you figure it out

First you'll need a time machine if you want to get back to the 1990s.

You'd need to go from Roku to VCR, then VCR to TV utilizing what ever connections it may have. I'm guessing you'd need HDMI to RCA, then RCA to RCA on your TV would work. As far as speakers, if your speakers are powered from your TV, then you'll be good. The yellow on RCA jacks is the video and the red and white are audio, so bridging them from Roku to VCR to TV is the route the audio would take to get there.
