Every few days in plug.dj I get a warning about running scripts that could be spamming their server. If you get so many warnings they banned you.
Does any know what they are talking about when they mention "running extensions or scripts"?
This is from their FAQ:

Q: I have been banned from plug.dj after getting the spamming our server message. How long will I be banned for?
A: You have only been banned for 15 minutes from plug.dj, and will have full access after that 15 minute duration. If you are running extensions or scripts, they could be spamming our servers. Please disable them and reach out to the author of that script to have them update their extension.

Here's a good simple explanation:

Add-Ons for FireFox, Chrome, etc. use them, and sometimes they mess with the way a website has been developed. The same with extensions. I use Tampermonkey in Chrome and usually it won't affect anything, but sometimes I'll need to turn it off.

To turn them off in Chrome, go to OPTIONS>MORE TOOLS>EXTENSIONS and disable them. Not sure how to do this in FF or IE since I don't use them, and I'm too lazy to look into it.

Cloud Services

Any of you guys use a cloud server? I've tried one or two but they really sucked, and Google Drive is way too small. I need terabytes here not ****ing gigabytes! I'd also like one that will allow you to choose what to upload, hasn't too small a file size limit for videos and doesn't cost the earth (10/20 dollars/Euro per month maybe). Also obviously must be reliable; I don't intned to upload TBs of files just to have the company go out of business in a few months time and I lose all my backup data.

Any insight would be appreciated.

hubic has some nice offers. i've never used it before, but you can read a review on it here

if you plan to share files for long periods of time, it's not ideal. i'd try the free 25gb before shelling out the €1 or €5

I don't do the cloud thing, I just use external HD's.

Yeah I use ext hdds too, but they can break very easily, and often it's the one with all your important files that you really meant to back up and were going to do tomorrow that coughs and dies. That's why I want a fallback option.

Hence the plural. One for a working HD, and one for backup. I actually carry 3 with me at all times, and that's just for my personal files. For work, I have an ext HD for backup directly connected, and then another off-site remote server has the root directory mirrored.

Taking tore's advice, I've tried Google Play, however I find it skips like crazy on my phone and won't even run on sister's Kindle; there's a load of guff about rooting and sideloading that I don't want to and couldn't be bothered messing with. Spotify seems to be out, so I'm left with Amazon Prime.

Has anyone used their music service? Is it any good? Worth signing up for? I want to get an on-demand music service that will work on this thing, but they're making it really difficult. I'm impressed with GP so far, but I've seen nothing of AP.

Actually, scratch that: ****s only operate it in the USA.
Any ideas?
