bookmarked' it. Give me something to tinker with over break.

How exactly do drivers mess up? Is it something I can trigger?

Generally, you have a hundred different companies writing software that doesn't always equal a hundred different companies writing software to co-exist peacefully on one system. Toes get stepped on, or certain configurations aren't accounted for, or flaws aren't found soon enough. This is usually resolved with updates, which generally consist of bug fixes accounting for most of the above. But then again, many times, bug fixes introduce more bugs. This is something I'm intimately aware of, having worked at a software company the last two years. It's hilarious.

FlacSquisher | SourceForge.net

You know you'll lose sound quality yes? FLAC is a far superior recording standard than MP3. Why do you want to convert?

Cheers, cos I'm uploading it to a file sharing site and want it to be in one part.
