My family got a Toshiba Satellite C55D-A recently, and this brand new computer runs great...save for the extremely slow wireless internet. It has Windows 8 on it, and poking around on forums discussing a similar issue most people say that they change their transmit level settings. I haven't been able to find this in the control panel or anything even following their instructions that they've posted. The wifi isn't the issue since it works fine on everyone's phones and on the Wii (we use it for Netflix). Does anyone know how I can change this setting or if there's another way to fix this dial-up speed internet.

Run these two tests and post results:

Using the ping command in Windows 7 or Vista to test the connection between your computer and router | FiOS Internet | Residential Support | Verizon

i have a Panasonic smart tv with a Panasonic blue ray....i bought them about a year ago and payed for set up which included a LAN line going to both devices....

i've honestly never really used the internet features on either device save screwing around with it when i first got it....i just find using my laptop easier

today i subscribed to HuluPlus for access to their 800+ Criterion film collection

i was not able to activate the TV itself but was able to activate the Blue Ray....which is fine as it has the priority line out of the router

but it is choppy as fuck...like every 2 seconds

i'm updating the firmware on the blu ray....any other suggestions?

you could go to the router settings, and set up port forwarding for the blue ray player?

Been having a lot of troubles streaming video or audio lately.

I always get the same error message, something about the script taking to long to respond. It's driving me crazy. Trying to stream TV shows on Amazon is a friggin nightmare of stuttering, out-of-sync hell. Anyone know what could be the problem?
