I forgot to mention that the camp is also a domed utopia floating above the remains of the destroyed Earth.

I've shut down the computer completely and rebooted. I've updated Firefox and yet the same thing happens. I'm now using the hated IE to browse but I like FF and can't understand why it's behaving like this. I didn't do anything different, download anything or go onto any dodgy websites. I haven't run a virus check, as I doubt this would be the result of a virus or even spyware; seems more like a bug in the browser.

Any advice appreciated guys. I was sure rebooting would sort it but no luck.
Thanks

Edit: Crap! It's also happening with IE! If I enlarge the screen at all, like with ctrl plus to zoom it in, then the scroll bar at the bottom goes over to the right and won't come back to the right; ; it keeps bouncing back. God damn it.
It could be a problem with the communication between the mouse and computer, the keyboard and computer, or both. My computer was doing the exact same thing and I brought it in to get looked at. Do you find that when you look at a drop down menu, the last item is automatically selected or it just keeps scrolling through the menu? How about when you are typing? Does the flashing cursor always jump to the end of the document?

In that case, I'd start with checking the mouse.

Thanks guys.
This is ridiculous! I've rebooted, restored, run Malwarebytes (three plus hours, found 11 items, same thing happening) and no luck. My next option is to (gulp) reinstall Windows! After that it's a goddamn format! Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

In addition to the scrolling issue in FF/IE I now find that as BD says, the startbar will just keep scrolling and I can't select anything. The only way I got to system restore was to type it in as a search and then click on it. I've tried three mice and two keyboards, one of which (kb) is hardwired one of which is wireless, and the three mice are USB. Same thing happens. It's really bugging me. I can't get anything done.

Also, when I use ctrz plus to try to zoom it now zooms in, out, in, out and then leaves me with a tiny window as if I'd zoomed out by a factor of about eight, and it won't resize it no matter what I do, in FF. Haven't attempted it in IE, as at the moment it's the only one I can use. Can't get to Chrome as it's on the startbar, but may try running it same as restore, ie searching for it. I think the same thing may happen though. It's looking gloomily like a total reinstall of Windows.

Oh, to answer the question about reinstalling FF? After it updated it just reinstalled itself I guess, as it got me to reboot. Think it's all in the one.

Lord this is trying my patience! I hope the reinstall of Windows does it; I can't even begin to contemplate the issues if I have to format my disk!

Keep you guys updated (assuming I still have a computer to work with)...
