Also, if you don't mind ordering online, there's a 24" Acer on sale for 129.99 at Amazon. Amazon.com: Acer G246HL Abd 24-Inch Screen LCD-Lit Monitor: Computers & Accessories I'd recommend LED-lit though. I think there's another 24" Acer that's LED lit for about 160.

I have this weird issue that whenever I open up the Chrome Browser I get an error message window that pops up several times and when I go to look at it in Task Manager. I see that several Chrome.exe are running with different memory being taken it. I want to start using Chrome more because it seems like Firefox is a memory hog lately or it has always been but I never noticed. What should I do?

Last week or so, I was downloading things pretty smoothly, but all of a sudden my dl speed dropped real low, now I'm lucky to get 15 kb/s, wtf happened? My internet speed/connection is fine, my downloads are just so slow.

Anyway, Depending on your ISP, you may be getting throttled. Have a look at their policy and whether they place a bandwidth cap or not after a certain amount of bandwidth has been used for the month. If your router has the capability, you can see how much bandwidth you've used for the month and check it against your ISP's limit, if there is one. Failing that, I'd contact the ISP and describe your problem. They're in the position to determine the issue if it is indeed on their end. Least of all, you could determine whether it's them or not and/or if there's a known issue on their end. Also, if you haven't already, test downloading from different places to determine whether it's a server-side issue or not. If you're using a download manager, verify download speeds by testing your vanilla download w/o the manager. Also run a check on speedtest.net to see what kind of numbers you're getting, if you haven't already. This will rule out server-side issues, as the speedtest servers accommodate far larger bandwidth bursts than a typical server hosting downloads.
