The world isn't ready to be free, so we keep these hidden chains tied closer to us more so than we keep our dearest enemies. If we were to reveal these truths we would then truly know of revelations.

Shoes its all about the nikes. only when they're on sale cause I'm not paying ****ing 80 bucks for a pair of shoes. i like flannel shirts, some thrift store, but I have one from american eagle that's really nice. I have one sweater, it's really nice, not sure what brand cause the tag was ripped off when I bought it. I have 2 second hand roots hoodies but they look stupid as **** so I don't really wear them. For jeans I usually try to get the nicest ones from walmart, i don't really like them but most other jeans are too expensive. T shirts I usually just wear thrift store stuff, but I think that some of them are really cool. I found one obey shirt that's bad ass as hell. I have a jansport backpack that I really like, it looks sick. I also have a sweet trucker jacket my uncle gave me from the 80s, even though it looks pretty redneck. I'm a big fan of snapback hats too, I have 2. Overall I tend to try to wear baggier clothes but not too bad.
i like the way i dress. |

I don't understand why people pay top dollar for otherwise normal T-Shirts or Hoodies emblazoned with a logo of a particular brand. Is it a form of conspicuous consumption relevant only to a particular subculture?
So, ok, you like Carhartt; but what is the point of buying a sweatshirt that says, "Carhartt"? The entire point of Carhartt is the clothes are durable and utilitarian; yet, somehow, this seems to have been transformed into a prestige brand of such magnitude people will pay top dollar for a sweatshirt simply because it says... "Carhartt".
