it would b cool if they lowered it here in aust. cause a majority of the population under 18 drinks anyway but wat they also should do is put certain boundaries on where kids could drink n wat could be sold, cause u wouldnt want a 16yr old girl in a pub downing rum or something surrounded by drunk 30yr old guys

nothing like a great idea such as lowering the drinking age so more stupid teens can get drunk and get behind the wheel, as if they can drive without being intoxicated to begin with.

It would be alright.... I mean you can drive a car when your 16 so why not.
Where I come from we can by alcohol when we are 16 (Last year it was 15) but we cannot drive untill we are 18.....
