Watch it. Best advice ever right there.

Trainspotting > Lock Stock, even though I love most things Guy Ritchie does. Even though RockNRolla failed I still enjoyed it. And I enjoyed Sherlock Holmes as well. Guy Ritchie  (Although he needs to pull it out the bag with his next film, but he's taking on the tale of King Arthur, Robin Hood part 2?)

You gotta love those 80s American teen movies? No. No I don't. Ferris Bueller's Day Off was a bit of fun but it was mostly forgettable, for me anyway.

BACK OFF YA ****S TRAINSPOTTING IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE which means it belongs to me!!!11!!

;)

but I would bang James Franco pretty hard.

Danny Boyle is a met ride (tram, tube) away from where I live. He's MINE and so is trainspotting :p:

I'll keep that in mind ;)

I thought Sherlock Holmes was mediocre - I like Robert Downie Jr as much as the next person, but it was all a bit awkward for me. They left the story a bit undeveloped so I had to keep asking what was going on. I mean, it might of just been me not wathcing properly but yea, it was ok.

Guy Ritchie is like at the right hand side of Danny Boyle/God, so all is well in director heaven. Snatch was fantastic too! Best acting I think Ive ever seen from Brad Pitt. Have you seen that?

Ferris is cool. So is Weird Science but Breakfast Club was over-rated. Hated the really girly ones like Sixteen Candles though. As long as its not the entire filmography of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chuck Norris, I'm into the guyish movies :D

Sansa Stark 06-02-2010 01:58 AM

I've seen Trainspotting so many times I can recite it without it being on, I've also read the book 14 times at last count, so it's mine.

That picture is just hotter, I ****ing love men in suits.

Well, I'm a Burton/Ritchie/Tarantino fan boy, although with Tarantino the expectations are too high, so fan boy is a slight stretch because I didn't like Death Proof. So I like everything Ritchie has done, Sherlock Holmes is a 7/10, not great but highly enjoyable and I felt Downy JR and Jude Law had some on screen chemistry even if it was limited at times.

Of course, but personally Lock Stock > Snatch. Even though Brad Pitt was so good in it, when I first saw it, I didn't know it was him. Unbelievable that I didn't notice, but he was just that character and nothing else. My opinion of Brad Pitt was he was in the same bracket as Tom Cruise - an overrated tosser but I have a level of respect for Pitt.

Breakfast Club is great fun, I'll give you that one. Not a favourite movie, mind.

Claiming because of the geographical > violence. 1-0. I think a lot of people would fight us for it to be their favourite, it's truly an outstanding peace of work. I hope the sequel is as good "Porno."

Sansa Stark 06-02-2010 02:04 AM

It'll be ****, Ewan's not doing it. Besides claiming it because of the geography is ridiculous, I'll just have Kayleigh claim it and give it to me cause I'm her dear Boaby.

Tarantinos alright, but then again I've only seen Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bills - mind you, that scene were he goes right through the glass jug is pretty cool, and Uma Thurman is pretty alright.

When I first saw Snatch I thought Brad was also playing Frankie Four Fingers for some reason, they must of looked alikeish. Plus that Irish Gipsy accent Brad put on was possibly better than the Scottish one Johnny Lee Miller put on for Trainspotting. Except Tom Cruise is an absolute tosser. At least Brad has the redeeming quality of being able to do great accents.

The Directors location is far more important than where it's set and the actors nationalities. Danny Boyle  it's still mine, and your attempts to use Kayleigh in such a fashion saddens me. Plus I could just use James if it came to that, he wouldn't let me down.

Porno has been announced though, Boyle said he'd only do it if Ewan was on board or it wouldn't work. So if he's going ahead without Ewan then what's the point? He's already said it won't work. You sure Ewan isn't up for it?

You can have the skinny jeans, can't fucking stand skinnies. I never understood how that fashion took off.

Tarantino is better than alright, that smooth duologue, the violence, the fact he writes all his own stuff. Reservoir Dogs is a must watch for any film fan, as is Inglourious Basterds.

Brad Pitt's gypsy accent was indeed great, he was so convincing I didn't recognise one of the most famous faces in film..

I'll tell you how they took off - Ewan wore them in Trainspotting. Im not usually that in to guys in skinnies but phwoar! did he prove me wrong. He has the right legs for them, you see :D

I'll have to watch those, but I've never really warmed to him. Hes a great director, just not my fave.

Sansa Stark 06-02-2010 02:12 AM

I'd rather have Ewan without pants ;)

and I was referring to the author's nationality!

and
Ewan McGregor Not Interested in Trainspotting Sequel

Ewan McGregor, snog, shag, shag, shag, marry, bear 10 of his children

You have a ladycrush on ol' Ewan?

http://i.realone.com/assets/cs/401/01128401.jpg

Around 97, after he put on the weight he had to lose for Trainspotting and that long hair, he looked like a handsome chap. Hasn't aged well though.

And Tarantino is probably my favourite, just listen to the dialogue. Outstanding.

You can claim the book then, I'm still having the film due to Danny Boyle putting it on the screen.

2 people with a girlboner for Ewan, interesting..

But yeah he has a point, doing a sequel for doings sake can turn out bad. But if they go ahead without him and find a new Mark then it's gonna be a whole lot worse..

I edited that post because I forgot to include that, I hope it doesn't go ahead without him. :( Danny Boyle would be stoopid if he did.

And you're a strange lady Paloma. People like Depp and Dicaprio have aged fantastically, why not Ewan?

Why does everyone keep calling me strange? Depp and Dicaprio aren't nearly as attractive as Ewan McGregor.....but then I'm in love with Kevin Spacey so I don't know.

I know a guy who looks exactly like Johnny Depp but everyone calls him Prowzy, so you can tell just from that exactly how charming this guy is.

And I personally believe there is nothing hotter than Leo DiCaprio in Titanic, even with the greasy do. Phwoaaar, I would.

TheCunningStunt 06-02-2010 02:25 AM

Depp and Dicaprio aren't up there with Ewan? Behave. Depp and Dicaprio's are my only men crush, as well as Kurt Cobain.

Mainly due to how talented they all are. But still. Ewan has aged badly and hasn't been in a good film since Big Fish 7 years ago :( he had so much potential in Trainspotting. Then he played in some chick flick (no offence) and a Jedi (I don't like Star Wars) and a few other bad films. The emotional level he reached in Trainspotting, going through that struggle. He should've been massive.

Dicaprio is better these days with the little stubble thing he's got going on! And he's no longer thin, he's bulked up. What a man Leo is

I didnt like Big Fish much for some reason, I liked the idea but I felt a bit depressed about it afterwards. I havent seen an earth-shattering movie of Ewans like Trainspotting, since, well, Trainspotting. The Men Who Stare At Goats was stupid, but Moulin Rouge was very sweet.

Nice man crushes. Once again, you have good taste in men ;) Mind you, Leo did look good in The Beach.

You dont like Star Wars?! What is wrong with you man!

Sansa Stark 06-02-2010 02:29 AM

I loved Big Fish, but then again I've never disliked anything Burton has done and I've seen everyone of his films apart from 1 I think. Ewan really should've been in much better films considering in 1996 the potential he seemingly had.. The scene where he was going cold turkey in bed, God that was intense.

I do try. I have too many man crushes. It's worrying. Although it's more admiration for what they are and what they do.

Star Wars is the most overrated piece of shit ever.

I wouldn't do any of them things, as you mentioned I'm straight. I'd give each of them a giant soppy hug. Ewan > Depp? You women are crazy.

I'd hold on to Johnny whilst saying "I love you Edward Scissorhands" he's just the business.

Sorry Paloma. I was supposed to be quoting someone else! I was too late... but good to know for future reference that you don't have a penis. As for movie look-alikes, I know a guy who looks EXACTLY like Jake Gyllenhaal. It's seriously uncanny, people stop him on the street. He's pretty fine.

Tim Burtons amazing! Although The nightmare Before Christmas will always remain my absolute favourite.

That scene was amazing, the bit with the baby still freaks me out though. The acting was mesmerizing (couldnt think of a better word.)

That wasn't even a Burton film, it was a Henry Selick film. :( you need a new favourite Burton one. (Although Burton was producer, maybe that can count?)
