Remember you have this height issue? You won't date short guys or w/e. Well it's not even so much as being picky but knowing exactly what we want and not settling for any bird that just comes by because she has a vagina.

To be fair to her though dj, skinny jeans do look shít. What's worse are the drop crotch skinny jeans, skinny jeans that are baggy around the arse and that... either commit to skinny jeans or wear regular jeans, dont combine them ffs!!

Maybe if you paid attention to anything I said you'd know my ex was same height/shorter. I am interested in guys shorter, I just don't feel comfortable with me being taller. It emphasises my height and highlights something I'm very self concious about. But yeah that's the same as not dating someone because they wear clothes I don't like.

I was agreeing with her that they do look like crap.

That's not the point, my point is that you have preference and that's perfectly fine to have them. they are very similar situations.

Andrei they're not similar at all, one can be altered. One cannot. Slightly different. I'm not going to force you to see my point.

You are right about that but even though clothes that are being worn can be altered it's not that easy to tell the girl that you are dating to change the way she dresses, she's not going to stand for that. It's pointless to even make a suggestion because she's going to wear whatever the hell she wants to and I don't blame her for it.

but sometimes advises are given so as not to make someone look stupid just by their taste in fashion

exactly. I don't get how Aurora is not seeing that.

I think maybe it's because of how I grew up here in NY. You either learned how to dress yourself properly or you got teased non stop for wearing things that you shouldn't be wearing. Some people get dressed so GQ just to go to the corner store.

The Virgin 05-19-2011 04:02 AM

agree. i'd rather tell my friend she looked awful on that polka dot dress than see her get teased and laughed at by morons on the street.
