One of my musical heroes is Scott LaFaro who played with Bill Evans and Ornette Coleman. I was playing one his bass lines from a book of his charts and my gf/common-law wife looked at the cover and asked, "Wow, who's he?"

I said, "Scott LaFaro, one of the finest bassists ever."

She said, "He's one of the finest bassists ever alright!"

So, I'll run him passed you here. What do you think?





Another bass hero of mine is Neils Pedersen from Denmark. A man of incredible talent. My mother thinks he's handsome. What about you?
