Call me ignorant all you want. But humans are the leading animals of the world. We are at the top of the food chain. Evolution heigthenes your quality of lofe in some way. It heigthened ours by making us inteligent, and making it easy to eat animals.
And I don't feel sorry for the animals either. I like meat, I love fish, if they have to die (cruelly) for me, I don't care. I feel superior to them. End.

Firstly, there are a huge, huge number of cows in India. They wander around in the street and into people's houses. India 'running out of cows' doesn't seem a likely thing. Secondly, its not very common for people to keep domesticated cats. You don't tend to see cats running around anywhere, so tracking one down and killing it wouldn't be at all practical for the purpose of making what? One shoe? Not even a pair! Thirdly, most Indian dogs are flea-infested, rabid, inbread retard-mutts with mis-shapen skulls, growths hanging from their bodies and are only interested in eating things which have festered for at least a week. Being killed, skinned, tanned and made into a jacket is the best thing that would ever happen to them. Quote:

I'm vegitarian... since i've been at uni. partly for ethical reasons, partly because i cant afford to buy meat.
i haven't eaten fish for 8 years or so though.. because of the state of the fishing industry. at least cattle are managed in a sustainable way...

Being a vegetarian for ethical reasons is so ridiculous.
All those non-meat products you eat, come from somewhere, and whatever it is you are eating has to be harvested. The big machines they use to harvest that food (combines) kill thousands of snakes, mice, gophers, and other small animals every year. Their little bodies are caught in the combines and crushed to oblivion, but you have the nerve to be a self-righteous prick and try to make me feel bad for eating meat? F*ck you. |
