I thought this was brilliant. I personally find silence beautiful, but I don't have time right now to write as much as I'd like, so I'll leave this for the time being.

I enjoy it sometimes; small pauses in songs.. the moments between songs.
Other times I want the music to flow w/o end.

I enjoy it. I hate people who feel like they have to fill air with noise with small talk or something really boring.

Isn’t funny how people who appreciate silence could go on and on about it? I’m the same way. It’s just one of those things you want other people to see the beauty of…

It's great when used in music.

But I can't stand COMPLETE silence, there has to be some kind of white noise for me not to lose my mind, like a fan or air conditioner, or the sound of crickets or birds chirping, or rain or wind blowing.

Unlike this my love for silence actually goes hand in hand with my love for music. Without silence you wouldn't appreciate many moments of music. Like the silence before the music breaks into it of a song starting. Or millisecond pauses in songs. That kind of stuff.

I feel the same, if I'm not listening to music or watching TV I need silence. It makes me relax. However hearing people talk in other rooms, dishes being done makes me tense and unfocused.

Silence is blissful. I miss it. Sometimes a good meditation session in pure silence can be just the thing to get a person focused.

I find silence is much better for writing and creating than background noise can ever be.
