heres the deal. you show me your slopes ill show you mine. and no there was no vulgar undertone to that statement. even though theres about...wait for it....2 good ski fields in australia. thredbo and buller. and a friend of the family has an apartment on the slopes of buller. hes my good friend. theres actually more than two, but you get it. australian ski fields enjoy sucking camel balls. one metre of snow? THATS UNREAL!!

by the way molasses, im from mt martha....aka right accross port phillip from you. how old are you my friend? you may know a lot of people i do over there.

^haha, well the thing is, I'm so gonna be so unbelievably busy second year art school that I'll maybe get out 3 or 4 times, if I'm lucky, so any kind of snow is looking awesome at the moment, i'm also looking at new zealand too if that's any better. A good friend of mine told me that chile has some awesome mountains, but not too great lift service, and another drawback is that I don't speak the language, so australia or new zealand would be good in that respect. In canada, I'd recomend whistler, there's just no place better, best terrain, absolutely HUGE, it's the closest thing canada has to the Alps, and a incredibly sick park, plus the two has a great feel to it, filled with ski bums, easy to get a place and pretty easy to find a job. but if for some unknown reason you don't want to go to whistler, fernie is awesome too, and the atmosphere in the town is amazing.

yeah Australia does rock, but sadly we live in the only that doesn't rock. thank god for a little place called the ground floor and both your bro's bands:band:

but then again you dont speak australian either. if you were on the slopes and somebody came up to you and said:
"bloddy oath this is fair dinkum up here eh? how bout we grab a cold one?"
how would you interpretate that?
or if a new zealander said:
"iv counted sex shepps. lets go get sum fesh and cheps then shag some shepp"
??

jibber 01-14-2005 02:46 AM

haha, well I'm guessing grab a cold one is get a beer, as for the new zealand quote my guess is, "I've counted six sheeps, lets go get some fish and chips then f*ck some sheep"
