Alejo: about our economy being dependent on your's, you are right. Except, your's depends on our's as well. They are dependent, but still separate, as was evident when your economy went ****ty, and ours was on the rise.

Just because we work together on a lot of things doesnt mean we should just 'shut up and go with it'.

and finally, to your comment on how you dont need permission from anyone to do anything, that sums up why the US is probably the most hated country in the world. The United Nations were formed to protect the common good of the world, and to keep the peace. The idea is that they will stop any of the bull**** in Iraq from happening. If you think that the US shouldn't have to give a damn what that body thinks, then you are no better than your president.
"No better then your president", judging people now are we? Shows what kind of person you are...

We do quiet a bit of trade through Canada but in no way is our Economy dependent on yours. Atleast to the extent of where it would terribly hurt us if ya'll we blasted off the face of the planet.

No one else would do it so we did..I fail to see what's wrong with that?

1) You're not an American
2) Fair election? We've been using the electoral system since the begining. The liberals are not just begining to bitch about it....

30 days.
Just as Clinton smoked pot and didn't inhale.

Just as Clinton got head (not even by his wife) in the white house.

Just as Clinton sent troops more places than anyone else.

Just as Clinton didn't take care of the first world trade center bombing.

Just as Clinton pardoned atleast 50+ people on his last day of office due to possible payoffs.

Just as Clinton gave a ton of land to the UN. Tax Payers land at that.
My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

My point is, no President is perfect. Bush admitted to having a problem with alcohale just as you have a problem with sheer stupidity. The deal with Bush though is he overcame it.

MILITARY:

I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused

the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.
For starters, do you even know what AWOL is? Away without leave. 99% of the times this happens is when a soldier goes on say Christmas Exodus realizes that he misses family so much that he stays more then his alloted leave time was. Not only do a ton of soldiers go AWOL, I find it hard to believe he went AWOL for that long and didn't atleast go in front of higher ups and get his ass chewed.

COLLEGE:

I graduated from Yale University. I earned a lot of "gentleman's C's," which
means F's that are turned into C's for sons of prominent Americans.
Proof? Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for U.S. Congress and lost.
He also ran for Governor of the State of Texas and won. Imagine that. Do you have any idea how many politicians run for seats and don't win!

Quote:
I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas in 1975. I bought
an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went
bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.
Couldn't find any oil in Texas? Have you ever been to Texas? Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

Quote:
I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took
land using taxpayer money.
Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

Quote:
With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil industry
(including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected Governor of Texas.
Since when do politicians not get big sponsors (as in CEO's of large companies)? What is wrong with the right-wing?

Quote:
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR: I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power
and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union.
More like he changed rediculous Texas pollution laws to help the economy grow by encouraging companies to move to Texas. Creating jobs.. Funny you mention it has Canada has a substantial unemployment rate.

:edit when I posted this and now also I realize/realized this was not your 'work' but a copy and paste:

Quote:
During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden
city in America.
Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

Quote:
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in
borrowed money.
Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

Quote:
I set the record for the most executions by any Governor in American
history.
Wether it's true or not I think that's great. Less criminals flooding our jails, less freaks with the chance of escaping, etc, etc..

Quote:
With the help of my brother, the Governor of Florida, and my father's
appointments to the Supreme court, I became President after losing by over
500,000 votes.
:edit: removed whole comment:

Quote:
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one
billion dollars per week.
:edit: removed whole comment:
Quote:
I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury.
Bankrupted the US Treasury? Not as of now..

Quote:
I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history.
Evidence? Do you have any idea how much the Democrats and they're medicare, welfare and other socialist programs have wasted?

Quote:
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any
12-month period.
Post 9-11, I assure you had sore-Gore been president that number would have been 10 fold that.

Quote:
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S.
stock market.
That's more unjustified garbage. Because if it was the biggest drop the stock market would have crashed like in 1929 and the mid 80's. Look at the stock market now...

Quote:
I am the first president in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal
record.
Criminal record? Ya right... The only? Ya right... Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

Quote:
I set the the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one year
period. After taking-off the entire month of August, I presided over the
worst security failure in U.S.history.
When he goes on vacation do you notice what he does? He goes to Camp David and his Ranch. Do you notice who goes with him? His entire staff. Would he go on vacation and take his entire staff so that he wouldn't have to do anything?

I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD.

"I have not had sex with that women". Ya......

The intelligence may have not been all that clear but that is besides the point.

Quote:
I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. president.
Evidence? More unjustified garbage.

Quote:
In my first year in office over 2-million Americans lost their jobs and
that trend continues every month.
Actually in the past couple of months unemployment rates have gone down. You can blame the past unemployment rates on 9-11...

Quote:
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.
Again 9-11.

Quote:
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any president
in U.S. history.
Evidence? More unjustified garbage.
Quote:
I set the record for least amount of press conferences for any president
since the advent of television.
If you're talking with him personally I could see that. He's busy running the country (maybe ruining in your eyes..) and doesn't need to waste precious time and money on the media. If you're talking press conferences from the White House itself, then I want evidence.

Quote:
I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to
intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.
So now we're blaming the President for this? What was he supposed to do? The power companies, in their words, "were doing all they could."

Quote:
I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.
Blame OPEC and the fact liberals/democrats won't let us drill more at home.

You should get my point about your complete and udder bull**** letter.

The US does ALOT of trade through Canada, Canada is the US's BIGGEST trading partner, so if "ya'll blasted us off the face of the planet" you'd be eliminating your biggest trading partner, so ya it would "terribly hurt" you. When you say "no one else would do it so we did" i'm pretty sure you're reffering to the war in iraq, if not, sorry. But the reason no other country jumped on board is because they were able to see that there was no justification to go to war with a country who had made no threats to the rest of the world. Yes Sadam was a terrible leader, yes he was torturing and killing innocent people within his own country, yes it's a terrible situation, but that DOES NOT give anybody the authority to go to war with another country, against the wishes of the UN, and under false pretences no less. War is not going to help the situation, only create more tension in a part of the world that is ready to fall apart as it was, without the added pressure of the US bombing the hell out of them, creating even more hostility to the US from the middle east, alienating the few allies they have in the middle east even more (aka Israel) and possibly making that conflict even worse.

^haha, just because someone isn't from the US doesn't mean they're not allowed to have an opinion. That's why this topic was posted in the first place, so that everybody on the site would have a place to voice their opinions. telling someone that they're opinions aren't valid because they're a "foreigner" is a nice convenient way to dismiss their points without having to voice any of your own isn't it?

Biggest trading partner? I doubt it, look at China.

I never said "ya'll blasted us off the face of the planet". I said "...hurt us if ya'll we blasted off the face of the planet.." (by we I meant were).

Justification? I posted earlier in this thread about justification outside of WMDs. Does not give anybody the authority to goto war? Okay so in WII we should have just sat there because after Pearl Harbor being bombed we still didn't have justification (according to your standards). So what would Saddam have to do besides abusing, murdering, molesting, etc millions of his own people? I already gave my opinion about the UN. If I had mine (and quiet a few other people) ways the UN would have no property in the USA and would also receive 0 funds from the USA.

The middle east already hated us for whatever reasons, going to war with them I think did little to escalate their hate as IMHO they hated us, "to their max".

As you can see from my previous posts that I fully (to the extent of this forum and thread) voiced my opinion about the subject and also debated (if that's what you want to call it) his.

Note: The opinions expressed by this poster may not necessarily be the opinions of Musicbanter.com, Moderators or Administration..

And as I said earlier...get a clue...
I have a clue. It is a FACT that Canada is the US's largest trading partner, go to this site: http://www.canadianembassy.org/trade/index-en.asp
in the very first paragraph it says that we are each other's largest trading partner's, maybe you should check your facts before you slam other people's.

You can't compare WWI and Pearl Harbour to the situation in Iraq. The Japanese attacked the Pearl Harbour, and killed thousands of innocent Americans. The US army was completely justified in going to war with them, which they did. Iraq however made NO attack on the US, nor have they made any threats to your country, the two situations are entirely different.
