I'd be super resilient to damage and pain like the typical hero is (at least superman) and then I'd take up skateboarding again.

Or I could go base jumping without a parachute.

No, I don't think skateboarding and base jumping is something only teenagers do.

In all seriousness, if I had to have a super power, I'd probably go for one that didn't completely detach me from the rest of human kind - something the ability of flight or stopping time obviously would. Super good health would be nice a one perhaps. I would not get sick and live longer than the average person .. but it's not the most inventive super power. :p

My superpower that I'd like is to be able to control people with my mind, to always get what I want. :D

I want magical bass playing abilities, funky basslines that are so awesome that they can manipulate the basic elements of nature (Earth, Wind, Fire, Water) and summon earthquakes and volcanoes as well as control people's minds and bodily functions.

Of course, Bootsy Collins already has this superpower.

I would totally go with telekinesis. And I would most definitely abuse it.
