Not yet, but I'm excited, any prog band that makes Blender's 50 worst artists of all time list just has to be awesome.

Yeah, I admit this is a very silly thread, but there's nothing wrong with a little self depreciation for humor's sake. There's a lot of user specific ego boosting threads these days, many posters like to name their threads after themselves, Comus devotes a thread to him playing a video game. What's the big deal? It IS a legitmate question. Because it's something people tell me all the time. That I'm paranoid and get too worked up over other peoples opinions.
I know some of you are very nice to me, but I actually encourage some of you to speak your criticisms of me as long as it's in a constructive, noninflammatory matter. Which Joe C couldn't manage to do, and btw, if making this thread leads to me getting to ban that douchenozzle, then it certainly served a great purpose. |

I think that your lack of self esteem transmits itself in your body language perhaps boobs. Girls like confidence in a man, it doesn't matter if he is not particulary good looking. if you appear confident then that transmits too. I know it sounds cliched but it's true. What's your sense of humour like? That is a winner for sure. Be attentive but not overly so. My best mates wife said that I could easily charm her into bed. This was on their wedding day and I was best man rofl. Luckily we are all really good friends and laughed it off.

This is mostly true, I mean it is cute to see a shy guy every once in a while. And someone not overly conceited is great... but it's also not attractive to spend your time convincing a guy that they're "just wonderful" and "quite attractive." It get's obnoxious. Honestly, though, I think boo boo has some self-esteem, I feel he may have expressed his feelings differently with Joe C if he hadn't any... |
