Country is rough to get into apparently.
Most newer country sucks, I'm still stuck in the 90's with it.

Savannah,

I can't express how happy I am to finally see you post about your music. I don't know why you wouldn't before, you have excellent taste. Not that I don't enjoy your pic posts just as much as the next guy, but it's great to see you come out with some real music related banter.

p.s. great to see another Drive By Truckers fan here.

it's weird to me when people say newer country sucks. Newer country is the only way I sort of listen to some country. The whole country pop thing works for me and eases me into country. I think that's what country enthusiasts are missing out on the fact that the way that new country is, it's making it appeal to a wider audience base and bringing people into country that would otherwise turn their nose up at it.

Well norfolk is a navy town. Yeah I can relate to that feeling, havng to pick up and leave even if you don't want to. It's tough. The song was good though I know why you thought it was relevent now. I'm sort of digging this band, not all their songs, but they have song good ones for sure.
