It's the nice ones that snap. I've already called right-track in the Spill Your Guts thread. The unconscious body in his basement is proof.

Shit, even when I was in the military, I was a network administrator. My likelihood of killing anyone was slim to none.

Not all military members are hired guns.

Did you have to go through basic training though? Like small arms handling and the such?

Word, if I were to kill someone, it would either require stabbing someone to death with a ball point pen or blugoning with a 3-hole punch. Not exactly war movie material.

Yeah, I'm actually a sharp shooter with a 9mm. But I've only pulled a gun on someone once, it was pretty scary.

Of course.
I don't see how it's much different than a person going to a shooting range with a coach when it comes to whether or not they're more likely to kill someone than a person who doesn't.

Edit:
Unless we're talking semantics here and debating who's shot will be the most lethal...
If that's the case, then we're wasting time.

Yeah I have my permit to carry concealed back in Indiana. That is pretty much awesome. It was way more hands on than the military weapons training.

Yea, the only thing that's driven into weapon tactics in basic is accuracy, control, and accountability.
But when considering the fact that there's a platoon of guys with M-4's/M-16's all with up to 30 round magazines of ammo, plus at least a SAW gunner, and maybe a couple 50 cals up top sending rounds down range... there's less of an emphasis on detail.
Hehe
