I once had a guy buy something off me from eBay. He waited almost 2 weeks to pay me for the item that had already been shipped. Then he reported the item as stolen or not delivered in an attempt to get his money back.

Luckily eBay was on my side since the tracking system they have proved the item had been sent to the guy in question. Whether or not he got it specifically isn't really my problem at that point.

Yeah. It had put my bank on hold because it was noted as a "stolen charge" or whatever so it was a hassle.

I can't disagree. Especially when Amazon takes a ridiculous amount of care when they send their packages. I've never had one bad experience with them.

I ordered from some dick on Amazon once and he never sent the package. They were really quick to return my money though so it wasn't too bad.
