This reminds me of whistling at work and intentionally whistling "reedy" to be as ear piercing and obnoxious as possible just cause I like making noise. My co-workers figure that if they don't say anything I'll stop but I'm no basic troll who'll stop being annoying just cause no one responds. I just have to be consistent and they'll lose cause I'm entertained regardless of whether or not they tell me to shut up. I just like making noise in general tbh.
