Doesn't that happen to everyone? You see some pretty stranger on a bus or something and you spend 10 minutes fantasizing about a life together. You may even have a dream about them later that night. But then you forget about them for the rest of your life and nothing has changed.

It's like having a long term relationship that ended but with none of the actual real-life repercussions

I do this, except in reverse. so I imagine people that I don't remember are fantasizing about me right now after having seen me just once. very humbling.
