I've become obsessed with Waiter Rants. It's such a well written blog, with an amazing cast of characters, and so many of the posts have legitimately insightful moral lessons to impart. The fact that the author is a vain, self-important glory hound is just a bonus.

That is the worst thing I've ever heard.

I had kind of questioned the relationship that Pandora and I have had. There were a lot of good times where it would play my favourite Beefheart songs or introduce me to Ultralyd or Doctor Nerve. Those had me hold my head up during the bad times, like when it played Genesis on the Frank Zappa station or when it played Flock of Seagulls on the Talking Heads station, but I chalked it up to ignorance since they have somewhat similar genre labels and it is a program after all. When it played the G after tantalizing me with Sun Ship, I knew what a sadistic bastard Pandora had been the whole time. I'm glad I cut it off or I might have ended up in the hospital or worse after one of Pandora's bad nights.
