Just so people know: I felt one of my friends was being taken advantage of in an otherwise excellent thread. I called one of the perpetrators a douche, and that is the sole thing that prompted this outburst from Ori.

Just some objective facts so we can all be informed readers

In Pork Daddy's defense, he called you "Orphidouche", not "Oriphidouche", which sounds much better and actually made me chuckle just a bit.

I wasn't surprised. On there own, the abusive posts that he made that probably got him banned were perhaps not explicitly ban worthy by themselves (though they probably violated the rules of the site anyway), but I imagine Urban took them as the straw the broke the camel's back, as he had made a habit of being pointlessly antagonistic, to the point of being abusive, many times all throughout his time here. I figured it was only a matter of time.

Some more facts: I recommended a fucking Psychedelic Rock album to Trollheart, a genre that he doesn't hate but in fact has made an effort to explore since it's intertwined with Prog Rock. Then I joked "I want to see how much you hate it :laughing:", knowing fully well that he would be surprised by a bunch of Garage-esque girls grabbing his eardrums, but enjoy the experience in the end since it isn't that much of a departure from his usual music.

Seriously YorkeDaddy, you were a prick. While everyone was throwing Hip-Hop at him, I recommended a Psych album that he might actually enjoy, and yet I get called a douche.

And I agree that all the hip hop recs were pointless. I gave him one album that I legitimately knew he'd love, one that I knew he wouldn't, but felt that he should hear anyway, just cause of its significance, and then one specifically to torment him when he insisted that we "bring it on", cause I wasn't about to let that opportunity pass. But I'm not going to flood him with a bunch of stuff from a genre that I know he hates, since I know that he's not going to like them, and don't feel that they are significant enough that he "just has to hear them before he dies".
