The average American household carries $137,063 in debt, according to the Federal Reserve's latest numbers.

Yet the U.S. Census Bureau reports that the median household income was just $59,039 last year, suggesting that many Americans are living beyond their means.
Financial reporting sucks.

how you just gonna call the shred funk ending at 8:43 incoherent https://ququmatz.bandcamp.com/track/jacawitz

come on now

I thought to myself "If I was gonna spam my own music too, what would I choose?"

https://soundcloud.com/micshazam/bat...-distant-stars

This one, because it's literally the first piece of music I ever finished. Somewhere back in the early 2000's. My writing style really haven't progressed that much over the years...

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:28 PM

I'm just trying to combat the injustice

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:31 PM

that's also my most melodic album by a long shot. I care way more than I really should.

in any case, personal bias or not, I can't see how anyone could listen to that and think it's completely random noise with no semblance of structure or anything.

I structure my music hard bro

MicShazam 08-17-2018 02:34 PM

It's definitely not unstructured. Maybe the commenter was just thrown off by how the guitar that comes in later during the funky section doesn't click in with the timing but plays very off the beat.

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:35 PM

my drums are always on point though

I think most people assume they have a good idea of what an album is like after listening to 30 seconds of it. That's the Noosefiller metalarchives theory anyway.

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:37 PM

I always forget intros are forbidden in metal

MicShazam 08-17-2018 02:37 PM

Noosefiller is on Metalarchives? I've got to read that right now

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:39 PM

no, they wouldn't let us in cuz our new album is only 100% metal of the most shredding degree

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:40 PM

https://noosefiller.bandcamp.com/album/noosefilller

MicShazam 08-17-2018 02:40 PM

If it doesn't sound like Iron Maiden or Morbid Angel, it isn't metal. That's the Metalarchives philosophy.

Mondo Bungle 08-17-2018 02:46 PM

top Q'uq'y moments though:

4:48 - https://ququmatz.bandcamp.com/track/...-sky-existed-2
hella prog rock riff at 5:14, super sick acid metal bit at 9:17 - https://ququmatz.bandcamp.com/track/xpiacoc-and-xmucane
pretty much all of this including basically the greatest build up and track/album ending ever - https://ququmatz.bandcamp.com/track/tepeu

well there's a lot so I don't wanna go anymore. What do you think about those parts though

all respect to Jute Gyte, but he's on there and we greatly out riff him imo

Holy damn I just watched this. I'm sure I got to her from hbomberguy as well. She's fantastic. I love how her channel has evolved to show you a view of transexuals that you'd probably never get otherwise without knowing any transexuals yourself, from guy with a girl clothes fetish to a straight-up male-to-female that has done a lot to humanize transexuals to someone who was supportive of trans but who didn't know any in real life. It's kind of hard to conceptualize the idea when you have no actual experience with them no matter how openminded you are.

And the progression of her videos and their conceptual quality is fantastic. They started basic but are now visually fantastic on a level I don't know that I've ever seen elsewhere.

Totally agree. I've watched Contra from the start, so it's been interesting to follow her personal journey as well as the quality of the videos getting even better over time (started out really solid and then got even more profesisonal and in depth).

There aren't many Youtube channels I really think are all that great, but Contrapoints is top 5 easily for me.

Ginger balances out the palate so you can appreciate new flavours.
