Yes that's what I meant. Because their actions are in no way beneficial to society. It's petty bullsh*t, that I avoid at all costs. If I gave a sh*t I'd feel bad for them, but since I don't I just despise them.

their actions might not be beneficial to society, but i don't see how that slows society down.

i mean the actions of aliens on mars would also have no benefit to society, but that doesn't mean it slows us down. it just doesn't speed us up.
