Skepta's verse at 3:25, one of the greatest ever in Grime for me.

Made a version of the song with ugly punk vocals inspired by leftover crack and the like by putting up a silly voice and ruining my vocal chords by shouting.

Anyone ever had a family member (sibling) who is very bad with money constantly asking? It is causing me a lot of stress.

Tell them that if they want to get something they're gonna have to give something, and then sensually caress their face.

Basically my sister isn't good with money, she makes more than enough to live comfortably on but is constantly asking me to lend her money. First it was £20 every few months, now we are at the stage where she is asking for money on top of money she's already borrowed. Right now I'm owed about £200 and she hasn't stuck to the time she said I'd get it back (again). I say yes because I feel like I can't say no and feel guilty because of that. If this was a friend then would I fuck lend them money repeatedly and I doubt they'd have the cheek to even ask but when it's your close family it is difficult.

She seems to have this attitude that if she is struggling then she can be bailed out by me or our parents. I was speaking to my dad yesterday and he said he reckons she's into about 10k of debt with them and my face was like this . I started worrying because my parents aren't loaded by any means.

I simply do not understand where it is all going. She is one of those people as well who if you try to bring this up to find a solution you won't get anywhere as she will go off in a mood. I don't want to make her sound like an arse, but that's what will happen. It's near impossible to actually sit down with her and try to work a way through something. She has no discipline with money, I've been going round this week to fit furniture for her new flat and there was no need to buy any of it (she hasn't paid cash for some of it and is paying instalments which will work out more). Her flat is basically full of stuff she doesn't need. I have offered to go round and sort through her stuff, what she does/doesn't need, cook in bulk for her and take meals round once a week to save money on food (she gets home in the evening and then doesn't have the energy to cook so gets takeaways a lot) but whenever I text to say can I come round now then it's always 'not tonight, too tired'.

It's making me worry a lot and my parents don't need the extra stress at the moment, both of them are unwell, I fear there is something that's gone on that we don't know about and the money she's 'borrowed' off us is just the tip of the iceberg.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 06-29-2017 05:50 PM

yikes, that sounds like a tough situation. it's definitely harder when it's immediate family.

i'm not the best with money but i feel like most people, myself included, would feel pretty bad having to rely on parents or siblings because your financial standing being so poor.

hopefully you can talk to her about it mate, or at least try to get her in some sort of position where she can start setting money aside.

You worried about drugs? Either way it sounds like you don't have anything to feel guilty over. You're trying to help in more ways than money, which is more than many people would do.

Cheers for reading Q-Man, needed to vent on here.

As far as borrowing goes there are exceptions but generally you are a cunt for even asking imo.

I'm gonna try and go round tonight and see how the mood is.

I'm sure a sensual caress will get her in the mood.

Not drugs mate, she's never been the type to do drugs. I'm worried there might be other borrowing that we don't know about. The amount of times she's asked me I'm thinking she must have asked a load of people already, I could be worrying too much I know.

She probably knows he's into feet, so again, sensual caress.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 06-29-2017 06:10 PM

tbh just from eating out regularly, living out of your means, and mismanaging your money in general, it's pretty easy to always be broke. i know a lot of people who could really use some education on money management.

True Q-Man, but I would hope people would learn their lesson after a bit.

She's gotta pay off her debt somehow. Just don't think about what that means between her and your parents...

Nope. Some people especially your sis are the type of takers that won't stop taking as long as people keep giving. They don't care about what others are going through just what they want for themselves.

Honestly, If I was in your shoes I would cut her off completely and all debt that is owed to you needs to be paid back with 100% interest.

The Batlord 06-29-2017 09:12 PM

We don't take pounds either, so make sure to exchange those for some real money before you send it to us.

I find that either we put just enough mayonnaise/ketchup/mustard so that you can get a hint of what they're supposed to taste, or we use a firehose. There's not much in-between.

Frownland 06-30-2017 04:53 PM

Oh I forgot to update you. I went to Burger King last week because I left home in a hurry and wanted breakfast and got the sausage croissant. That thing literally tasted like ****ing garbage, even while I was hungry as ****. I'd like to talk to your manager about that so that you can face repercussions.

If it makes you feel any better they probably dropped the ingredients on the floor and didn't bother to wipe them off before making your sandwich. Also, if you really must then get either ham or chicken. I've found some success with making myself basically a ham and cheese sandwich with a fake croissant, and our breakfast chicken is actually pretty decent for fast food chicken. Never get the bacon. Our bacon isn't that good and they only give you enough to prove in a court of law that they gave you bacon. The only thing I'll ever do with the customer's best interest at heart is give them a bit more bacon than I'm supposed to, cause it's appalling just how much they give you.

Frownland 06-30-2017 05:14 PM

I don't think they dropped it, that would've given it flavour.

The Batlord 06-30-2017 05:23 PM

Oh yeah, and those croissants are hella overpriced. Get a couple of the cheapo burritos. They're about the same quality-wise but are on the dollar menu.

Frownland 06-30-2017 05:25 PM

Most things are overpriced at BK tbh. They seem to be less self-aware than most other fast food places, although Carl's Jr. is pretty pricy too.

I have no idea why our prices go from dollar menu to like five bucks for a Whopper without much of anything in-between. Even our Whopper Juniors are overpriced since everything that comes on them that doesn't come on a regular hamburger is free. You can literally ask for a hamburger made like a Whopper Jr. and it'll cost you less than a dollar, as opposed to over two.

Pet_Sounds 07-01-2017 06:19 AM

Maybe I'm going a little overboard with this Canada Day stuff.
