Of course there are still some studio tricks involve in the foo fighters music though, keep in mind... Dave Grohl's voice for example, sound very different live then in the recording(in the recording, he sounded very Beatle-y, when he performs the songs live, he sounds very rough and not so beatle-y).

The music of the Foo Fighters is relatively raw because it wasn't even like filled with a lot of reverbs, a lot of synthesizers, or even layered snare drums for that matter, the Foo Fighters music pretty much basically capture the sound of the instrument, the only studio tricks that I notice so far in the Foo Fighters music is on Dave Grohl's Vocals.

I can't believe I got the classic albums clue wrong. Oh well. Into The Great Wide Open is a better album anyway.
