Unfortunate - that's gotta shake a guy to his core. He probably should've taken some gun safety courses or something. I'll always cherish Baldwin for his performance in The Cat in the Hat. Absolutely integral role in that movie and he elevated it higher than just being a 'good movie'.

Baldwin was handed a gun that was supposed to be checked safe by a propmaster. It's as if a gun instructor handed you a gun and said "it's unloaded and safe to use". You wouldn't point and shoot it at somebody but this is the movies. You kind of have to point and shoot it at people for the shot to look real.
Baldwin did nothing wrong. What happened to him and the crew is a tragedy. Well, except the propmaster. She is in big doo doo.
